President Nazarbayev sent telegram of congratulations to Russia's Dmitry Medvedev

ASTANA. December 5. KAZINFORM President Nursultan Nazarbayev has sent a telegram of congratulations to President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in connection with a convincing victory of United Russia party in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation; the President's press service reports.

"The elections demonstrated public support of the course of social, economic, political modernization of the country. I am confident that the election results will promote strengthening good traditions of good neighborliness and mutually beneficial partnership relations between our countries. I wish you success in implementation of the tasks set on further modernization of the country," the telegram reads.
