President Nazarbayev to attend solemn meeting in Astana

ASTANA. December 15. KAZINFORM Today Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev will participate in a solemn meeting in the Palace of Independence in Astana.

Yesterday the Head of State presented state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan and jubilee medals "20 years of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan."

Outstanding figures of culture, science, education, healthcare, representatives of the production sphere, business, employees of law enforcement bodies, military men, athletes, veterans of war and labor were among the people awarded.

Nursultan Nazarbayev was awarded "Elbasy" badge at a solemn meeting of the Kazakh Senate.
