President of Ingushetia paid a visit to Almaty

ATY. October 30. KAZINFORM. /Yekaterina Ionova/ President of Ingushetia Junus-Bek Yevkurov visited Almaty city yesterday. Akim of Almaty Akhmetzhan Yessimov met with him within the framework of XV session of the People's Assembly of Kazakhstan; Kazinform refers to the press service of Almaty Akimat.

The delegation consisted of the members of the Russian Federation Council representing Ingushetia, deputies of the State Duma, Chairman of the Ingush Parliament, heads of the state bodies and businessmen.

Greeting the guests the Almaty Akim said that the peoples of Kazakhstan and Ingushetia were connected with the common past from the soviet times. He told about the success of Ingush small and medium businesses in Almaty.

'We are interested in preservation of peace in your republic. If there is a stability, there will be mutual promotion of business as well. I am confident that Kazakh entrepreneurs will work in Ingushetia with pleasure", Mr. Yessimov said.

The President of Ingushetia expressed his admiration with Kazakhstan, its successful socio-economic development and two major cities of the state - Astana and Almaty.

He noted that Ingushetia is ready to develop cooperation with Kazakhstan, particularly with Almaty, in various spheres including sport, culture, business and etc.

The issues of stabilization of the situation in the republics and struggle against organized crime were also considered at the meeting.
