President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to visit Kazakhstan

ASTANA. April 4. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is to make an official visit to Kazakhstan on April 6-7, Official Spokesperson of the Kazakh MFA Yerzhan Ashikbayev has said at a weekly briefing today, Kazinform reports.

?The Iranian President is expected to have top level talks for discussion of a wide range of problems and ways of expansion of the bilateral political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. Special attention will be given to the issues of strengthening the ties in energy and transport sectors, delivery of Kazakhstan grain to Iran, investment cooperation and interaction of the countries in multilateral format?, Y. Ashikbayev said. The President of Iran will also give a lecture at the Eurasian National L. Gumilyov University.
