President of Kazakhstan to deliver speech at 8th Astana Economic Forum

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Today, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in the work of the 8th Astana Economic Forum with the theme "Infrastructure: driver of sustainable economic growth".

Over 1000 delegates and 200 foreign speakers are participating in the forum.

The future of the world economy, risks and necessary actions under the conditions of falling down prices for oil as well as the issues of sustainable growth are discussed at the forum. Besides, one of the main purposes of the forum is attract large-scale investments to the country.

Annually, big contracts are signed within the framework of the forum. Thus, a number of proposals for attraction of investments are being prepared this year as well.
