President of Romania to pay official visit to Kazakhstan
ASTANA. March 5. KAZINFORM. Temporary Envoy of Kazakhstan Kairat Aman met with Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry?s Secretary of State for European Issues Bogdan Mazuru on March 3 in Bucharest.
The parties discussed bilateral relations, oncoming chairmanship of Kazakhstan in the OSCE in 2010 and ?Path to Europe? State Program; Kazinform refers to the Kazakh MFA?s press service.
The Kazakh diplomat informed of internal processes in Kazakhstan, priorities of the country?s foreign policy, main provisions of the program ?Path to Europe? for 2009-2011 including strengthening of cooperation with European states in the fields of technologies, energy, transport, trade, investments and etc.
K. Aman emphasized the dynamic development of the political, economic and humanitarian contacts between Kazakhstan and Romania. He expressed confidence that the planned official visit of Romanian President Traian Basescu to Kazakhstan would give additional impulse to the bilateral relations.
Bogdan Mazuru noted that Romania always supported Kazakhstan?s initiatives and would assist within its presidency over the OSCE in 2010.
