President presented Kazakhstan's state awards to outstanding political and public figures of Russia

TANA-MOSCOW. December 20. KAZINFORM Today within a working visit President Nursultan Nazarbayev has handed over state awards of Kazakhstan to outstanding political and public figures of Russia in the Kazakh Embassy in Russia; the President's press service reports.

Rector of the Moscow State University named after M.Lomonosov V. Sadovnichy, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation B.Gryzlov, Chairman of the Committee for Soldiers-Internationalists R.Aushev, President of the International Engineering Academy and Russian Academy of Engineering B.Gussev, Chairman of the Supreme Court V.Lebedev, people's artist L.Leshchenko and others were awarded state awards of Kazakhstan.

N.Nazarbayev outlined that the awardees made great contribution on strengthening the Kazakh-Russian friendship and cooperation. Over two decades strategic interaction of Kazakhstan and Russia significantly strengthened. 20 years of cooperation represented by progressive decisions and actions.

The Head of State thanked the awardees for their work for the sake of strengthening good neighborhood and allied relations between Kazakhstan and Russia.

The awardees expressed gratitude to the Kazakh President for high honor and assured their striving for further strengthening of the Kazakh-Russian friendship and cooperation.
