President received akim of Akmola oblast

ASTANA-AKORDA. February 13. KAZINFORM President Nursultan Nazarbayev has received akim (governor) of Akmola oblast Albert Rau today, Kazinform refers to the Presidential press service.

A. Rau told about the results of the region?s socio-economic development in 2008 and reported on fulfillment of the President?s task on establishment of a food-belt around the capital and development of Shuchinsk-Borovoye resort zone. The Head of the State gave certain tasks on development of dairy and beef sectors of the region?s agriculture and charged the akim to start construction of a broiler factory and elaborate a general plan on Shuchinsk-Borovoye resort zone development. ?Over 60 projects are under implementation in the region now. Two dairy complexes will be put into operation in the current year?, A. Rau said.
