President received credentials from several foreign ambassadors and Permanent Representative of UNDP to Kazakhstan

ASTANA. March 30. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ Ambassadors of Poland, India, Latvia, Afghanistan and Permanent Representative of the UNDP to Kazakhstan have extended credential letters to President Nursultan Nazarbayev in Akorda Palace today.

The President congratulated the diplomats on beginning of their diplomatic mission in Kazakhstan and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation.

"Development of the relations with the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan is among the priorities of Kazakhstan's foreign policy. We back the international community's efforts in rehabilitation of Afghanistan and we will continue rendering assistance to the Afghan people", N. Nazarbayev said.

Alongside the Head of State highlighted that Kazakhstan and India actively interacted in the international arena and in maintaining stability and security in Asia.

"We attach great importance to the interaction with the UN and its structure. We reckon on assistance of the UNDP in the sectors defined in my recent Address to the Nation - social sphere, education, employment and entrepreneurship development", N. Nazarbayev added.

"I am confident that the period of your work in Kazakhstan will be full of new achievements in promotion of mutually beneficial cooperation the results of which will allow us moving to a new, higher level of political and business interaction", N. Nazarbayev concluded.
