President?s Address discussed in Karaganda State Technical University

KARAGANDA. March 13. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Complex Program of Development of the Karaganda Technical University for 2009 on realization of the strategic tasks, highlighted in the President?s Address to the People of Kazakhstan was applauded at the enlarged session of the Academic Council of the University, Kazinform refers to the press service of the University.

?Based on the assumption of the Address, it possible to say that the new program is socially oriented. It includes such directions as social support of faculty and students, promotion of effectiveness of the activity of corporate university, increase of competitiveness and extension of the spectrum of educational services and others?, the press service notes. If 2008 was the year of introduction of advanced experience in the field of information-communication technologies and strengthening of scientific research work, the current program is aimed at the increase of quality of educational services. Address to the Head of the State, expressing support to the political and economic course held in the country, was read at the end of the session.
