President Sadyr Zhaparov meets with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz
On November 26, as part of an official visit to Berlin, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov held bilateral talks with Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz in a tête-à-tête format, Kabar reports.
The press service of the head of state reported that topical issues of both the Kyrgyz-German and global agendas were discussed.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz highly appreciated the dynamics of the development of Kyrgyz-German relations. He expressed Germany's readiness to further develop constructive cooperation with Kyrgyzstan in all areas, including the implementation of mutually beneficial projects in priority sectors for both countries.
President Sadyr Zhaparov noted the importance of further strengthening Kyrgyz-German cooperation. "We are pleased that there is now significant interest from German business in our country. We welcome the participation of German business in our economy," said Sadyr Zhaparov.
In this context, President Sadyr Zhaparov outlined such priority areas of cooperation as hydropower, transport and logistics. He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is open to economic cooperation with both Germany and the countries of the European Union as a whole.
