President to give instruction to law enforcement bodies to bring to responsibility people spreading rumors on land sale to Chinese

ASTANA. December 24. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ I will give an instruction to law enforcement bodies to bring to responsibility those, who spread vicious rumors on sale of land to the Chinese. Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev announced it answering the journalists' questions within visit of new office of "Egemen Kazakhstan" newspaper.

"In live broadcast I told, that we can provide with land, for example, China, for cropping. Some people began to talk, that land will be sold. According to 23^rd article of the Land Code, land cannot be sold to foreigners", the President said.

He noted that agricultural lands can be sold only to Kazakhstan citizens.
