President Tokayev appoints Commander-in-Chief of Ground Forces

President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Commander of Troops of the South Regional Command, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.

Assan Zhussupov has been relieved from the post of the Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Kuanyshbek Ushtayev has been relieved of the post of the Commander of Troops of the South Regional Command.

Mereke Kuchekbayev has been appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Yerzhan Ibrayev has been appointed Commander of Troops of the South Regional Command.
