President Tokayev briefed on outcomes of election campaigns in 2024

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Chairman of the Central Election Commission Nurlan Abdirov, Akorda reports.

President Tokayev was briefed about the measures the country’s electoral authorities organize ahead of Global Elections Day on February 6, the outcomes of the election campaigns in 2024 as well as the current and promising areas of the CEC’s activity.

In addition, Tokayev familiarized with the proposals on expanding international cooperation in the electoral sphere.

Earlier, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Interior Minister Yerzhan Sadenov.
