President Tokayev congratulates Donald Trump on election win

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev extended a congratulatory letter to Donald Trump following his landslide victory in the US presidential election, Akorda reports.  

The Head of State expressed confidence in the progressive development of bilateral cooperation in the field of security, nuclear non-proliferation and investment sphere. President Tokayev wished Donald Trump success in his activity for the benefit of the well-being of the American people, global stability and security, Akorda informs. 

As reported by Fox News, according to current vote counts, Trump has surpassed the 270 electoral votes needed to win, with a total of 277 votes, while Harris has 226. House Speaker Mike Johnson also announced Trump’s victory.
