President Tokayev holds meeting with German business representatives
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the representatives of German business circles ahead of the Kazakh-German Business Forum in Astana, Akorda reports.
The Kazakh leader said that the presence of the leading German companies in Kazakhstan is clear evidence of a shared commitment to the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.
Speaking to the business representatives, the President highlighted that their companies are at the forefront of innovation and play a key role in global sustainable development and prosperity. The Head of State expressed confidence that the agreements signed and joint initiatives reached during the visit of the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz are to enhance the long-term strategic partnership between Astana and Berlin.
Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz also addressed the business representatives with a welcoming speech.
