President Tokayev presented with digitalization projects at Digital Bridge exhibition

Kazakh Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev attended the exhibition held within the Digital Bridge International Technological Forum, Kazinform Agency has learnt from the Akorda press service. 

President Tokayev toured the robotics exhibition areas, Social Tech, Creative Economy, AI, FinTech, Industry 4.0, GovTech, Kaspi.kz, the Agency of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market, Astana Hub, Freedom Bank, MyCar, and so on.

While visiting the robotics area, the Head of State had a talk with the members of Kazakhstan’s robotics team, including winners of several competitions, and got familiarized with the Ustem Foundation, Alem School, MakerSpace projects.

Digital development, innovation and aerospace industry minister of the country Bagdat Mussin reported the President that a number of second-tier banks and companies offer the citizens access to public services via their platforms.

The President of Kazakhstan was presented with the projects in healthcare digitalization, informed about Astana Hub’s projects, implementation of programs Google for Startups, Draper University, Tech Orda, Silkroad innovation hub, regional IT Hubs.

AI-run chat bot AiGov offering consultations and public services by the National Information Technologies company was presented.

Tokayev was also familiarized with the digital solutions of QazaqGaz as well as KMG’s project ‘Travel management’ ensuring transport security and transparent monitoring of transport and special vehicles’ operations.

In conclusion, the Kazakh President wished the exhibition’s participants success in realizing digital projects. He stressed that digitalization aims not only at improving one sector or sphere, but also at major transformations in the economy and public life in general.
