President Tokayev receives credentials from foreign ambassadors
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received credentials from a number of foreign ambassadors in the Akorda Palace today, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.

Those presenting their credentials were Ambassador of Cyprus Petros Nacouzis, Japanese Ambassador Yasumasa Iijima, Chinese Ambassador Han Chunlin, Austrian Ambassador Andrea Bacher, Ambassador of Burkina Faso Aristide Rapougdoudba Ludovic Tapsoba, Ambassador of Laos Siphandone Oyboubaddi, Ambassador of New Zealand Mark Trainer, Ambassador of Denmark Jesper Vahr, and Slovenian Ambassador Alenka Suhadolnik.

Welcoming the diplomats, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev highlighted that Kazakhstan pursues a peaceful foreign policy aimed at maintaining peace and security both at the global and regional level.

He noted that Kazakhstan is an active player at the international arena, regularly hosting large-scale events and meetings. Being the largest economy of the region, Kazakhstan actively attracts investments from various countries, and its market is open for economic cooperation.

Upon completion of the ceremony, the Kazakh President congratulated the foreign ambassadors on official beginning of their diplomatic mission and conveyed his best wishes to the presidents of their countries.
