President Tokayev receives newly appointed French Ambassador Sylvain Guiaugue
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has received today newly appointed Ambassador of France to Kazakhstan Sylvain Guiaugue, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of Akorda.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Sylvain Guiaugue on his appointment and noted that his diplomatic mission falls on an active period of the Kazakh-French bilateral relations development.
He highlighted that Kazakhstan attaches special importance to all-round deepening of cooperation with France and wished Ambassador Guiaugue success on his responsible post.
The sides also discussed the agenda of President Tokayev’s upcoming state visit to the French Republic.
The Head of State expressed hope that this visit will let outline the new prospects for interaction between Astana and Paris and will give a serious impetus to further strengthening the Kazakh-French strategic partnership.
