President Tokayev tours Kazakh national pavilion at COP29

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev visited the pavilion of Kazakhstan, presented at the COP29 climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of Akorda.

The national pavilion of Kazakhstan features exhibits of the country’s culture, innovations and environmental projects. The expositions space has an ethnic style with the use of natural materials, demonstrating the country’s commitment to traditions and green approaches.

The president was presented with a model of a Hyrasia One plant, set to generate green hydrogen.

Later, the head of state was introduced to the Saiga sculptures, created by artist Gulfiya Meldesh as well as the domestic organic products.

The pavilion familiarizes guests with the biodiversity of Kazakhstan as well as the state measures aimed at reintroducing rare and endangered animals such as the Caspian tiger, Przewalski's horse, Saiga antelope and Snow leopard.
