President Tokayev surveys Borte Milka dairy farm in Turkistan region
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has surveyed LLP Borte Milka commercial dairy farm in the Badam village of Ordabasy district in Turkistan region, Kazinform News Agency learned from Akorda.
Established in 2016, the enterprise, based on the North Kazakhstan’s experience, bought 403 cows, employing 15 jobs.
The project received concessional loan to the amount of 2.4 billion tenge at the annual rate of 2.5%. Construction works have been fully completed. The farm has been equipped with DeLaval technological complex.
The enterprise processes 25 tons of milk per day and produces over 20 types of products which are supplied to Turkistan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl regions, and Shymkent and Almaty cities.
Earlier, the Head of State visited SPK Turkistan industrial park and an exhibition of local agricultural producers.
