President Tokayev visits village named after Nagi Ilyassov
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev started his working trip to Kyzylorda region with a visit to a village named after Nagi Ilyassov in Syrdarya district, Kazinform Agency cites the Akorda press service.
Holder of the Kazakhstan's Hero of Labor title and founder of Abzal and K company Abzal Yeraliyev told the President that his company operates successfully and is among the region’s leading agricultural companies. He went on to point out that thanks to its effective day-to-day activity the company greatly contributes to the development of the region.
During the visit, President Tokayev surveyed the central square and the sports complex built with the support of Abzal and K company. Locals can go in for football, table tennis and wrestling at the newly-constructed sports facility. The Head of State had a chat with local youngsters at the sports complex.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the importance of sport for the upcoming generation. “[Sport] it is essential to make our youth healthy and strong. The future of Kazakhstan is in your hands. If the younger generation is healthy, the state will be strong,” said the President, adding that a lot of good athletes come from Kyzylorda region.
In conclusion, the Head of State expressed confidence the region will nurture a host of champions in the future.
