President visits social facilities of Zhetysu region's Karatal district
President’s working trip to Zhetysu region continued with a visit to Karatal district. The Head of State surveyed the House of Culture and Sports Complex commissioned this year, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Akorda press service.
The construction of the House of Culture for 150 visitors was financed from the local budget.
The President also surveyed a rural library and met young talents of the region.
This year, the region has overhauled five houses of culture and eight clubs. Besides,15 sports facilities were opened in the settlements.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev arrived in Zhetysu region on December 12. The President got familiarized himself with the region's social and economic development.
