President visits vegetable oil manufacturer in Uralsk

URALSK. May 11. KAZINFORM Within a working trip to West Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev visited JSC "Batys Kunbagys" in Terektinsky district to survey the work of vegetable oil manufacturer, Kazinform correspondent Yelzhan Yeraly reports from Uralsk.

President Nazarbayev was interested in implementation of the projects in cattle breeding and crop production. According to Chairman of JSC "Batys Kunbagys" Murat Zharkeyev, the cost of the project implemented in 2009 amounted to KZT 2.4 billion. The project is believed to pay off in four and a half years. This project has been implemented in order to fulfill President's instruction on diversification of cultivated areas.

 After its launch the plant produced more than 3 000 tons of vegetable oil and submitted KZT 110 million in taxes.

 Plant's products are sold in West Kazakhstan, Atyrau, Almaty, Mangystau, Pavlodar, and North Kazakhstan regions. It is 15-20 per cent cheaper than products of other suppliers. JSC "Batys Kunbagys" products are likely to be exported in future.
