Presidential State Language Development Fund to establish Association of Kazakh language teachers
ASTANA. February 13. KAZINFORM The issue of improvement of the Kazakh language learning in Russian schools has been discussed today at the workshop in Astana, organized by the Presidential State Language Development Fund and the Department of Education of Astana. Kazakh language teachers, experts in the field of linguistics and scientists participated in the workshop, Kazinform refers to the press service of the Fund.
As B. Abdygaliyev noted, the Fund plans to establish the Association of Kazakh language teachers that will search for and develop innovative approaches in the Kazakh language learning in Russian schools and preschools, promote Kazakh traditions and culture. ?We believe that the Association will also work on advanced training of teachers and influence on students who don?t speak Kazakh?, he added.
According to Director of the Presidential State Language Development Fund Berik Abdygaliyev, new emphases are necessary today in the issue of state language development. It is necessary to induce the growing generation instead of civil servants. According to B. Abdygaliyev, speaking at least elementary Kazakh language will allow a Russian school graduate to have good prospects in career, personal authority, raise cultural level and knowledge of the history and traditions of Kazakh people. The project is aimed at the achievement of this goal.
The Fund plans to hold a competition on the best method for learninig the Kazakh language in preschools in the nearest future.
