Presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus signed documents on establishment of Eurasian Economic Commission
SCOW. December 19. KAZINFORM /Narymbek Isamgulov/ Presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus signed a package of documents following the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Moscow.
"We have really created today our first supranational body to deal with integration issues. We have set up the Eurasian Economic Commission. It is the most significant move in the formation of the Eurasian Economic Space and, consequently, the formation of the Eurasian Economic Union," Dmitry Medvedev said highly appreciating the results of the meeting held.
"I would like to congratulate Viktor Khristenko on his appointment as chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission," the President said.
