Prime Minister addressed food issues
Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev urged to address the issue of food prices during the hotline with the Kazakh people. Within the working visit to Pavlodar region K.Massimov said that it is necessary to organize republican telephone conferences on the issues of pricing for food and fuel and lubricants in the nearest future.
The Government summed up results of the conducted wok on Saturday. Kazakh Minister of Agriculture Akhylbek Kurishabyev, Chairman of the Agency for Competition Protection Mazhit Yesenbayev and Deputy Mayor of Astana Kanat Sultanbekov reported on the issue at the conference.
The Astana Akimat signed four memos on reduction of trade prices for imported poultry meat by 10-15% and its fixing by the end of the year.
Amendments will be introduced to Customs tariff and Nomenclature soon in order to limit the import pressure and improve the positions of the domestic producers in the food sector.
K.Massimov urged the Minister of Agriculture and Mayors of Astana and Almaty to provide permanent control over the execution of decisions and daily report on the realized measures.
