Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov congratulated Kazakhstani people on October 25 Republic Day, Kazinform News Agency reports citing primeminister.kz.

In his letter of congratulation he noted that with the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty in 1990, Kazakhstan opened a new page in the history of its statehood.

According to him, this holiday symbolizes freedom and independence, unity and the desire of the people of Kazakhstan for prosperity.
