Prime Minister met with heads of foreign companies

ASTANA. February 25. KAZINFORM Today in the Ukimet Uyi Prime Minister Karim Massimov has had a meeting with Chairman of the Board of ?Siemens? Company Peter Lцscher, Kazinform refers to the PM?s press service.

The parties discussed a plan on development of cooperation of ?Siemens? in Kazakhstan. P. Loscher expressed interest in implementation of the projects on development of infrastructure, further expansion of cooperation in electric power industry, oil and gas sphere, railway engineering, communications, healthcare, tourism and sport andvocational training. He expressed readiness of the Company to realize a number of specific projects in different sectors of Kazakhstan economy. ?Cooperation with Kazakhstan is an important direction in our company?s activity. We will take an active part in further modernization of the country?, P. Loscher said. ?All projects defined by you are under consideration. They are quite interesting. They will be studied thoroughly? the Prime Minister assured. After that the Head of the Kazakh Government met with President and Executive Director of «Rohde & Schwarz» Company Christian Leicher. C. Leicher expressed readiness of "Rohde & Schwarz" to participate in implementation of the projects in telecommunications and information technologies, in particular, in development of radio monitoring and creation of digital television. K. Massimov noted the big potential of cooperation for further development of Kazakhstan's market of telecommunications and information technologies.
