Problem of shortage of pre-school institutions to be solved together with akimats - Minister of Education

ALMATY.  November 14. KAZINFORM /Aigul Turysbekova/ The problem of lack of pre-school institutions will be solved together with the akimats. Minister of Education and Science Zhansseit Tuimebayev who is participating in the I Eurasian Olympiad in Informatics (Almaty) has said commenting on the question sent to the President during his dialogue with the population.

"This problem will be considered and solved together with the local executive bodies. We need new approaches, in particular involvement of business in this process, to resolve the problem. Today we must build typical state kindergartens as well as private ones and facilities for various numbers of children like in foreign countries", the Head of the Ministry said.

Z. Tuimebayev reminded of opening of the International University in Astana scheduled for 2010.The graduates of the university will receive diplomas which will be acknowledged both in Kazakhstan and foreign countries.  "Memorandums of cooperation with the leading universities of the USA, Europe and Asia have already been signed. I am confident that the new university will take worthy place in the international educational space", the Minister said.
