TANA. November 3. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Problems of energy deficit in South Kazakhstan and Almaty regions are to be solved in 2012. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has announced answering the questions of the deputies at a plenary session of the Kazakh Senate during discussion of the draft national budget for 2012-2014.

"This week a have visited Almaty region and surveyed the facilities," K.Massimov said.

Vice Prime Minister-Minister of Industry and New Technologies Asset Issekeshev informed that next year there will be started implementation of the Balkhash thermal power plant.
