Problems of interest holders discussed in Majilis

KAZINFORM. /Muratbek Makulbekov/ At today?s plenary sitting of the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) Kazakh Minister of Industry and Trade Vladimir Shkolnik has informed of the situation on the shared construction and results of the work on legislative regulation of problems in this sector.

?Since September 2007, when the Government adopted a package of measures to support the shared construction, 166 shared construction units with participation of 22,000 interest holders have been finished. To date there are 248 objects with the participation of 44,000 interest holders including 23,800 in Astana and 12,400 in Almaty?, the Minister said. According to him, the Ministry has identified the mechanisms of solving the problems of interest holders, the necessary funds have been budgeted. The Committee for Construction Affairs daily monitors the situation.
