Professional table tennis club set up in Aktobe

A professional table tennis club opened its doors in Aktobe, Kazinform News Agency reports.

A further development of the sport at the highest level, a table tennis promotion among citizens, providing opportunities for amateurs and veterans to train in professional conditions, holding of mass tournaments, athletes’ skill level improvement, participation in training camps and successful performance at the Kazakh open team championships as well as at the international tournaments are the main goals of the project.

According to the Kazakhstan Table Tennis Federation, two experienced coaches work and eight athletes train in the Aktobe-based club.
It is important to note that it is planned to invite a foreign coach, which will significantly increase the level of training and give athletes the opportunity to learn from international specialists in 2025.
