Progress M-22M with two-tonne cargo for ISS to be launched from Baikonur

"The launch of a Soyuz-U carrier rocket with Progress M-22M is scheduled for 20:23 Moscow time," Roscosmos said, adding that the cargo vehicle would dock to the ISS in six hours after the launch (approximately at 02:26 Moscow time). Progress M-22M will deliver to the ISS 2,370 kilograms of different cargoes for life support of the station and the crew, including fuel, research equipment, oxygen, water, clothes and food stuff. Moreover, it will bring batches and presents from family members of the crew. Aside from standard rations cosmonauts will get fresh fruit and vegetables, candies and other sweets, Itar-Tass reports. The current ISS crew includes Russians - Oleg Kotov, Sergei Ryazansky and Mikhail Tyurin, Americans - Michael Hopkins and Rick Mastracchio and Japanese astronaut Koichi Wakata.
