Projects worth KZT 25 bln launched in Kazakhstan’s Almaty
10 projects worth 25.17 billion tenge were launched last year at the Almaty industrial zone, Kazinform News Agency reports.
1,319 workplaces were generated.
Among the projects are five industrial enterprises such as the daily chemical and personal hygiene products production, international payment systems’ bank cards production, concrete products total cycle production, and car audio and video equipment manufacturing units.
Besides, five small industrial parks were built in the industrial zone in 2024 covering from 3,000 to 5,100 square meters. Private investors channeled over 2.27 billion tenge in their constriction, and 614 jobs will be created.
Notably, 107 companies with projects worth 556.8 billion tenge are working in the industrial zone. As a result, 14,496 jobs were generated.
As earlier reported, budget revenues in Almaty grew by 25.8% for the past 11 months in 2024.
Notably, the National Economy Minister said Kazakhstan's republican budget revenues will rise in 2025.
