Prospects of Kazakh-Polish coop in education and science discussed in Karaganda

The polish side was represented by the Krakow University of Technology. Councilor of the Kazakh Embassy in Poland Margulan Baimukhan noted that the Agreement between Kazakhstan and Poland on cultural and scientific cooperation was signed in 1997, and new project of intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of education is negotiating at the present. There exist several ways to study or undergo a trainings in Poland. They are the Agreement between the Governments of Kazakhstan and Poland on coop in the field of education, programs of polish Government on support of polish Diaspora abroad, Kazakh State Program ?Bolashak?, agreements between universities, different international grants, etc. Holding of Days of the Polish higher educational institutions in Almaty, Karaganda and Astana is scheduled on March 29-April 4 by the initiative of Kazakh Embassy in Poland and with the support of the Polish Educational Center. Over 20 higher educational institutions of Poland are expected to take part in the event.
