Protocol of coop signed between Almaty and Bishkek

ALMATY. April 7. KAZINFORM Today Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has held a bilateral meeting with Bishkek Mayor Nariman Tuleyev. The issues of development of partnership relations between the cities, prospects of exchanging experience, expansion of firm economic and cultural ties were discussed at the meeting; Kazinform refers to the Almaty mayor?s press service.

The two mayors touched upon the public security issue in the connection with a big inflow of migrants from the neighboring countries, and noted that interaction in the law enforcement issues was required. ?In this difficult time we must ensure public order. Despite migrants form the minority, they cause 50% of crimes in our city?, A.Yessimov said. Following the results of the meeting Almaty and Bishkek Mayors signed a protocol of cooperation between the cities. The cooperation will be carried out in the sphere of municipal facilities, housing and utilities, transport, healthcare, education and cultural and humanitarian ties.
