Protocol on deepening of Kazakh-Kyrgyz coop signed
ASTANA. April 30. KAZINFORM. /Narymbek Ismagulov/ Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have signed a protocol on specification of ways of further deepening of bilateral cooperation following the results of their talks in Astana.

During the talks the parties discussed prospects of interaction between the two countries, defined specific tasks on further development of political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian cooperation. They also considered a draft agenda of the oncoming first sitting of the Kazakh-Kyrgyz Intergovernmental Council.
?The Heads of our states set the task to increase mutual commodity turnover from USD 600 million in 2008 up to USD 1 billion in the coming years?, Kazakh Minister Marat Tazhin said.
?In this context we agreed to continue stimulation of bilateral trade and the process of mutual investments?, he added.
According to Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Kadyrbek Sarbayev, at today?s sitting of the Kazakh and Kyrgyz Foreign Affairs Ministers Kazakhstan confirmed its intention to participate in joint projects, including interaction within the framework of such international organizations as the UN, OSCE, CIS, SCO, CICA and CSTO.
