Quake felt in Turkistan region
Kazakhstani seismologists recorded an earthquake in the territory of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency reports.
The network of seismic stations registered on December 9 an earthquake at 08:31:10 a.m. Astana time. It was centered in Kazakhstan 742 km southwest of Almaty.
2 magnitude earthquake was felt in Atakent village, Maktaaral district, Turkistan region, the Kazakh Emergencies Ministry said.
No casualties and damages were reported.
