Quake hits 477 km from Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Kazakh Network of Seismic Stations recorded an earthquake today at 05:15 a.m., Kazinform reports.

"The epicenter of the earthquake was located in Kyrgyzstan, 477 km southwest of Almaty city. Energy class of the earthquake: 11.3. MPV magnitude: 4.9.

Coordinates of the epicenter: 39.69° N 73.62° E. Depth: 10 km," the report says.
