Quake hits 496 km northeast of Almaty

ASTANA. KAZINFORM On January 7, the National Network of Seismic Stations under the Science Committee registered 3.9-magnitude earthquake which occurred at 02:54:35 Astana time in Kazakhstan, 496 km northeast of Almaty, Kazinform reports.

The energy class of the earthquake is 9.6. Depth: 10 km.
