Rain and snow to batter Kazakhstan on January 21

Mets issued a weather forecast for Kazakhstan on January 21, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet. 

Kazakhstan is expected to brace for rain and snow today. High wind, snowstorms, fog and ice-slick are in store for the regions.

Heavy snow is set to grip today Karaganda, Ulytau, Kostanay and North Kazakhstan regions locally. 

As earlier reported, this week will see an intense cold snap with temperatures in southern and northern Kazakhstan dropping to around -15, -35°C.
