Rain and thunderstorm, squall and hail forecast in Kazakhstan Jun 24

Unstable weather with rain and thunderstorm is forecast in most parts of Kazakhstan on Monday, June 24, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to Kazhydromet, heavy downpour will hit mountainous areas of the country’s southeast in the daytime.

Strong wind, squall and hail are expected countrywide.

Fervent heat will grip Abai, Zhetysu, Almaty, Zhambyl, Pavlodar, East Kazakhstan regions, and south of Karaganda region during daylight hours.

Fire danger remains high in Aktobe, Almaty regions, in the north, east of Ulytau region,  north of Abai region,  west and center of Karaganda region, west of Akmola region, south of East Kazakhstan region, west and northeast of Mangistau region, north and east of Zhetysu region, east and center of Pavlodar region, west of Atyrau region, and east of West Kazakhstan region.

Extremely high fire risk is expected in Atyrau, Turkistan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda regions, north of Almaty, Ulytau regions, south of West Kazakhstan region, west and south of Aktobe region, south of Kostanay, Karaganda and Abai regions, center and east of Zhetysu region, north, southeast and center of Mangistau region.
