Rain and thunderstorm to hit much of Kazakhstan Sept 21

Due to fronts, Kazakhstan is to see rains as well as thunderstorms in the north and southeast on September 21. High wind is predicted in the north, east and southeast of the country. Fog is to coat the northwest, north and the mountainous areas of the southeast, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Met Office Kazhydromet.

Frost of -1C is to grip the north of Aktobe region.

High fire danger is to persist in Aktobe, Karaganda, east of Ulytau, west of Zhetysu, north, northeast of West Kazakhstan, northeast, northwest of Kyzylorda, southwest, southeast of Zhambyl, west, south, center of East Kazakhstan, south, center of Kostanay regions.

Extreme fire danger is to linger in Mangistau, Atyrau, Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, west, east of Karaganda, Ulytau, south of Abai, north, center of Zhetysu, west, south of Aktobe, north, west of Almaty regions.
