Rains and strong winds expected in Kazakhstan on Thursday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - August 14 erratic weather will be in most parts of Kazakhstan, Kazhydromet reported.

Weather with no precipitation will be in the west and south of the country. In Akmola, North Kazakhstan, Pavlodar, Akmola and Karaganda regions strong winds up of 15-20 m/s, hail and fog are expected. Strong winds will strengthen to 15-20 m/s in Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Kostanay, East Kazakhstan regions. Strong wind up to 15-20 m/s and dust storm are expected in Almaty and Mangystau regions of the country. Extreme heat will be in Atyrau, Almaty, West Kazakhstan and Mangystau regions. High fire danger will remain in the south, south-east, west, north-west and center of Kazakhstan. In addition, on Thursday fluctuations of water content in some water bodies of the south, southeast and east of the republic will occur.
