Rains and thunderstorms to hit Kazakhstan Fri

The weather with no precipitation will settle in most parts of Kazakhstan due to the extensive northwestern anticyclone on September 27, Kazinform News Agency has learned from Kazhydromet.

The country’s south and southeast are to expect rains and thunderstorms. High wind is in store throughout the country. Fog is expected to blanket in the nighttime and early morning. The country is to brace for -2C ground frost in the northwest.

The high fire threat remains in Aktobe, Karaganda, Ulytau, Zhetysu,  West Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Abai and Kostanay regions.

Mangistau, Atyrau, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, West Kazakhstan, Ulytau, Turkistan, Abai, Zhetysu, Karaganda, and Aktobe regions are forecast to brace for the extremely high fire hazard locally.
