Rains to pour across northern Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Unsteady weather will persist in northern and north-western Kazakhstan today, August 3. Other regions of the country will enjoy sunny weather, according to the Ministry of Emergencies.

Strong wind gusting to 15-20m per sec is expected in the South Kazakhstan, Zhambyl, Kyzylorda and Aktobe regions. Fog will blanket the North Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions. Thunderstorm may strike in the Akmola and Kostanay regions. Extreme heat will persist in the Mangystau, Aktobe and Karaganda regions.
