Rainy weather expected in northern, eastern Kazakhstan

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Weather with no precipitation is expected in Kazakhstan today, July 31. Unsteady weather will bring rains, strong wind and fog only to northern and eastern Kazakhstan, according to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster.

Wind will strengthen up to 15-20m per sec in the East Kazakhstan region. Strong wind gusting to 25m per sec is also expected in the Akmola, Pavlodar, South Kazakhstan and Kostanay regions today. It will be foggy in the Karaganda and North Kazakhstan regions.

Meteorologists predict extreme heat in western Kazakhstan. Fire hazard remains extremely high in southern, western and central Kazakhstan.
