Rainy weather forecast in most parts of Kazakhstan Jul 17

Slow-moving southern cyclone and atmospheric fronts caused by it will keep affecting most parts of Kazakhstan, with rains and strong wind expected across the country. Heavy rainfall and thunderstorm, as well as hail and squalling wind will hit northern, eastern, and central areas, Kazinform News Agency reports.

Fervent heat will grip Atyrau region in the daytime.

The met service also warns of high fire threat in Atyrau region, in the north, east and south of West Kazakhstan region, in the northwest and northeast of Zhambyl region, in the south of Abai region, in the southwest of Aktobe region, in the southeast of East Kazakhstan region, in the south and center of Abai region, in the west of Ulytau region, and in the east of Pavlodar region.

Extremely high fire risk is forecast in Mangystau region, southeast of Atyrau region,  south of Kostanay region, in desert areas of Turkistan region, in the center and south of Kyzylorda region, and west of Zhambyl region.
