Realization of investment projects successful: Karaganda region

KARAGANDA. January 5. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ Realization of investment projects has been discussed today at the enlarged session of the Akimat of Karaganda region, Kazinform reports. Antirecessionary measures, taken in the region were discussed as well.

Several dozens of investment projects are expected to be realized in the region this year. Majority of projects will be realized in social sphere and municipal infrastructure. Eight investment projects will be implemented in the healthcare, 21 ? in the education, 39 ? in the water supply of rural areas, 8 ? in the heat and power engineering. Reconstruction of rural transmission facilities and thermal power plants in Karaganda are scheduled. Construction of 9 environment protecting facilities will be realized as well. Construction of the facilities of ?100 schools, 100 hospitals? program and housing for teachers and doctors is underway. The head of the region required to strengthen control over realization of the projects, provide timely and qualitative disbursement of allocated funds. Antirecessionary program was developed in the region. Measures concerning provision of employment of the population, social assistance, support of small ad middle business, agriculture and food safety were provided in the region.
